What polls are you reading? End Hits has been the token Fugazi "misstep" since it hit shelves nearly a decade ago. Meanwhile, Red Medicine, Repeater, and 13 Songs tend to top favorites lists, as far as I've seen, though Medicine gets mostly critical kudos. (Kind of like Kate Bush's The Dreaming in that way, I suppose.)

Actually, I trolled the Internet for every "favorite Fugazi record" forum and poll and compiled raw numbers.

Yeah, that surprised me too. Red Medicine is by far my favourite and End Hits is a bit of a mixed bag. But props for looking at Steady Diet - it's an underrated one.

Steady Diet is mostly dead on arrival. I mean there are a few quality songs, but it mainly reminds me how much better Fugazi's other albums are. Personally, I think End Hits is extremely underrated-the guitar work is incredible on that album.

As much as I like Fugazi, I have to say that SDoN is their worst. It lacks character, the songs aren't memorable (the only tracks I can recall off the top of my head are "Nice New Outfit" and "Long Division" and even those are second-rate Fugazi, at best) and it's just kind of plain.
