| | As a person who can be rather "loud," so to speak, I have to say I'm sorry you have to hear people over-theorize a band as down-to-Earth as Charalambides. I saw them in the summer and Christina Carter indeed did pronounced it shar-AH-lom-BIDES. Actually the audience was the most quiet (I'm being literal now) that I've ever seen. Anyways, looking forward to checking this out |

Honestly, I thought it was prnounced: shar-AH-lom-buh-dees. I looks Greek. |

| | It's pronounced "Shar-a-LAM-bi-dees". It refers to a character from an old Charlie Chan movie, Dr. Charalambides. Yes, it is Greek. |

| | I saw the "Tschäralämbeits" in London during the Football World Championchip in London, in this really great small prize-winning independant club, I forgot the name. The perfomance was intense. |

| | Ahh.It was "The Luminaire´s" on Kilburn High Str. Hope ya know how to pronounce that? |
| |
| | Nothin' is certain; everythin' is permissable. |
