According to Billboard.com, half of the 20,000 copies of Gang Of Four’s “Return The Gift” CD that are scheduled to ship on release will include a crisp, new $1 bill folded into the booklet, making it undetecable from outside of the package. Given the fact that the album is a re-recording of GoF’s past glories, perhaps the free money is a tongue-in-cheek statement of sorts?

Frankly, they’d need to put a bit more than $1 to get me to want to hear it over the originals, but I give them points for… well, for something.
